Georg Brunner, who already owned the neighboring "Gostnerhof", bought the Martscholerhof.
When the motorway through the Eisack Valley was built, he sold seven hectares of land for its construction. The Gostnerhof farm was also demolished in the process. For almost 50 years now, the Martscholerhof farm has still been nestled among vineyards, but also directly adjacent to the Brenner motorway. What might be noticeable from a scenic point of view has proven to be a great economic advantage!
Georg passed the Martscholerhof downhill to his son Peter, who farmed it together with his wife Rita and their three daughters Brigitte, Petra and Evi.
Peter handed the farm over to his daughter Evi. Since then, she has run the Martscholerhof together with her husband Hubert and their children Jonas and Florian.
