What we grow on the farm
Wine:

Wine has always been grown at the Martscholer winery. We cultivate a total of 2.3 hectares of vineyards on a hillside. We primarily produce white wines such as Müller-Thurgau, Sylvaner, Kerner, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, and Ruländer. However, our range also includes red wines such as Zweigelt and Merlot.
We deliver most of our grapes to the Eisacktal winery. We keep only a small portion for ourselves. These grapes are processed into wine in our cellar and served in our Buschenschank (wine tavern).

Apples:

Our apples are harvested from late July to mid-November. We cultivate over 1 hectare, including numerous varieties such as Gala, Golden Delicious, Grafensteiner, Topaz, Red Delicious, Pink Lady, Summerred, Elstar, and Jonagold.

Other fruit:

Raspberries, plums, damsons, peaches, apricots, cherries, currants, strawberries

Our garden / herb garden:

From spring through winter, we grow fresh vegetables in our garden, including tomatoes, lettuce, potatoes, onions, leeks, cucumbers, and zucchini. Herbs such as chives, parsley, basil, sage, mint, thyme, marjoram, rosemary, lavender, marigold, and oregano are also a must.
